![]() The Rt. Hon David Cameron I am delighted to send my best wishes to everyone involved in this year’s London Week of Peace. It is about people stepping up to the plate and playing their parts in improving the communities in which they live. And it has made a real difference. |

I am delighted to support London Week of Peace that seeks to promote justice, equality and respect through a number of different events. I hope that the celebrations are as successful as they have been in the past and I send my best wishes to everyone involved.
The London Week of Peace allows London to celebrate its diversity and create a more cohesive society that is beneficial for everyone. This year has been hard for many young people in and around London. This event will hopefully place more concentration on the challenges of young people in London and help fight against youth crime. Get involved, and help London become a fairer place! |

The Week of Peace gives all Londoners the chance to play their part in making our city safer and more peaceful. In troubling times we need public statements of solidarity, which the Week of Peace certainly provides. It also highlights the fantastic work being done by grassroots initiatives across the capital, and inspires other communities to follow suit with their own solutions. It is great for London and I offer it my total support. |
Sir Paul Stephenson QPM, Commissioner
The Met is once again proud to support the London Week of Peace. We share the vision of the organisers that all citizens must play a part in helping to make London's communities safer. The Met remains dedicated to helping those citizens understand that we are on their side when it comes to delivering a society in which all those who live here, work here and visit London, can enjoy their rights in a safe and secure environment. |
